Hosts are kind and helpful, and very available when communicating. The breakfast was just perfect (sweet, as I like it - pain au chocolat, (great) baguette, confitures, orange juice, coffee machine in the room was very good, yoghurt, fruit salad (awesome!)...). Seems like quite a recent construction so everything was in good condition. Nice beds. Nice to have a comfortable table and chairs to do some work. Great views, large pool (didn't swim as I stayed in winter), terrace looks nice also.

Auberge Chez Gabrielle - Vallée de Lesponne features a terrace, restaurant, a bar and casino in Beaudéan. Charming, amazing view, beautiful location. Lots of character! Convenient for the hike. Friendly staff and great food!

Located in Campan, in a historic building, 28 km from Lourdes Train Station, A Nouste chambres d'hotes et gite ONLY ADULTS is a recently renovated guest house with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and... Wonderful host, always laughing 😀. Spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable room and acomfortable bed. Good breakfast with local products and delicious omelette that Françoise made for us. Very good tips for local sightseeing.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated La Grande Maison Mazamet provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. Very comfortable beds. Large bedrooms with high ceilings. Hosts were very welcoming, with a friendly dog that the kids loved ! We had a very peaceful night, No noise from anywhere, but our room was at the back. Not sure how many rooms are at the front and hence nearer the main road.

The guest house is like a Sunday Times feature. Beautiful house, tastefully furnished. The owner must have trained as a chef. The food was Four star restaurant gourmet cooking. Very service-minded patron. Probably too good for pilgrims on the Chenin de Saint Jacques unless they want to spoil themselves with luxury and great food and wine.

So comforting and updated and unique decorations. We could check in early which was very accommodating and convenient. Lots of small touches you don find elsewhere.
