I needed a last minute overnight stay in Barcelona to catch a morning flight. This place was perfect from the price/value point of view, offering a separate room by the price with which otherwise I was only able to find a hostel bed. The room is small, but completely sufficient for the short stay. The shared kitchen and terrace are very nice additions. The bathroom was over the corridor, but I was the only one to use it. And the location is superb, it's very central and well connected to everywhere, still it was quiet at night.

Hostal La Placeta is located in Camprodón, Girona, 20 km from Vallter 2000 Ski slopes. It has rooms with heating and private bathroom. The staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and functional.

It offers air-conditioned rooms, most with a balcony, 200 metres from Urquinaona Metro Station.... Super clean, large room, large bed and very friendly and helpful staff! Orange juice, coffee and pastries offered every morning are a delicious

Pension Ciudadela guest house is opposite Barcelona’s França Train Station and 100 metres from Ciudadela Park. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities. The location is perfect. Short walks to all the main sights. Friendly staff and a very comfortable, clean room. An added bonus was the rooftop terrace! Just step out the door and a ride to the top in the elevator gives you an oasis amid plants and views of the city. Lots of chairs and lounges. We would rest up there for a couple hours at the end of the day before heading out for dinner.

Pensió Bellmirall is located in the centre of Girona’s Old Town, just 100 metres from the cathedral. The simple rooms have private bathrooms, and there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot. It was a very charming place in an excellent location.

Very elegantly furnished rooms, great shower, comfortable bed. There's an excellent common area for the guests to make coffee, tea, with local sweet pastries as a compliment. My little girl loved the marshmallow and the gummies. :) There is a superb breakfast with great variety. The staff is super nice and helpful. The location is excellent. 10 mins walk to the Aquarium or to the zoo, close to the Ramblas, and it's next to the gothic quarter with its zig-zag little streets busting with life and nice little shops. Absolutely recommend it!

Wonderful hosts, at a beautiful comfortable little hotel that has a beautiful dinning area and a lovely breakfast. The room was comfortable and newly renovated. We went with a little dog and the hosts were very friendly and kind. All in all a beautiful experience and definitely recommend
