It had the most amazing views of the church and castle (at night it was incredible!). The 17th century farmhouse was wonderfully restored, impeccably clean and beautiful. The room was cute, quiet with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was big, hot and made to order (eggs and bacon!) with cereals, croissants, toast and freshly squeezed orange juice. The host, Elena, was very kind and friendly. There are plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy nature.

Hotel Rural El Portón de Murillo ligger i den lille by Broto, 5 minutters gang fra Ara-floden, og har have med sæsonåben pool og terrasse. Værelserne har bjergudsigt, klædeskab, skrivebord og balkon. The location, the room and the views were incredible! Overlooked the town, Church with a waterfall in the background. Shared kitchen was ideal to make a quick lunch before adventuring out.

Casa Sara ligger i Cantavieja, 65 km fra naturreservatet Penyagolosa. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi og hjemmelavet morgenmad. Sara is very friendly and makes the best jams! There is an indoor space to park your bike (or even motorbike).

A real old fashioned Spanish inn. Despite our lack of Spanish we were made incredibly welcome by Rocio and Alix. Supper (very good) served in front of a log fire in a bar full of locals. Also appreciated the welcome for Daisy dog who immediately fell in love with the resident perro Sherlock. We hope to return.

Cimas con historia ligger i Fiscal og har fælles opholdsstue. Det ligger 28 km fra Parque Nacional de Ordesa og har udflugtsskranke. Værelserne på pensionatet har klædeskab. The owners of the hotel only opened the hotel a couple of months ago, but it feels like they have done it for years! The breakfast was very good and was clearly prepared by the hosts themselves. Room 1, is not the biggest room (like the hotel owner told us), but it has a nice view on the Fiscal valley and surrounding mountains. (Looking at the sunrise from out of bed is a perfect moment to start the day) Small note to show the kindness of the hotel owners: when we brought back an unfinished bottle of wine to our hotel room, we could find the next day two glasses, because the hosts assumed it would be better to drink it from actual wine glasses, instead of plastic cups. And they were right :) The small village of Fiscal is very quiet and most convenient to access the Parque Natural de Ordessa and Monteperdido. Fiscal is on a 30' drive to the valley access.

40 de Mayo er et nyrenoveret pensionat i Cantavieja, hvor gæsterne kan nyde haven og den fælles opholdsstue. Denne feriebolig har flodudsigt og terrasse. Værelserne har balkon med bjergudsigt. A spacious room in a large old house with with modern facilities. The accommodation and common areas were spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and quality bedding. The room was well furnished and nicely decorated with a small kitchen area with a sink and microwave. There was also a small balcony with double doors opening onto a spectacular view over the mountains of the Maestrazgo. The building is situated in a tranquil part of the historic centre of Cantavieja a short walk from the main square with bars, restaurants and shops close by. I really enjoyed my stay there.

We arrived off season and it was very quite, very tranquil. The owner is super sweet and an amazing cook! So please dont hesitate and try the Menu (speaking as Vegetarians) the Aubergine was so incredible tasty! Enjoy the garden infront of the House with a Glas of Wine and this fairytale landscape. The House is 500 Years old, rustic and traditional.. exactly what we were looking for. Very cosy, clean and my heart almost burst after opening the window it in the morning.. this view and this fresh air! The Location of the House in this tiny village very close to this craaazy viewpoint.. is just perfect. One of the best experiences ever! Thank you so so much.. we hope to be back one day ♡
