We had a lovely stay with Bettina and Darwin. They made us feel really at home and told us a lot about life in Ecuador and the beautiful surroundings of Banos. Breakfast with the freshly made "Hefezopf" and dinner with local treats were great, too, and we really enjoyed the view over the valley.

Great place , very kind staff, great breakfast and comfortable room. quiet spacious area right by the river bank . They made our laundry and gave us many extras for very little cost. Highly recommend.

Mercedes Restaurant B&B is situated in Baños. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The room was super clean and the hosts were SO NICE. They came to pick us up when we couldn't find the place and dropped us off in the main downtown area. They have some great stories! The breakfast was also very, very good and always timely. The rooms were clean, and the bathrooms pretty nice. One of the owners speaks a lot of English and is a mountaineering tour guide so we had no issues with communication.
