The hostel is a short walk from the centre and was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great.

Joel the host was extremely kind and helpful, it is just a single room in his house and we felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable. The free bikes were great to ride to the wall of tears and Joel also helped do our laundry. Location is excellent, close to a few great local restaurants and just a short walk from the beach and the ferry terminal.

Set in Puerto Villamil, just 100 metres from Puerto Villamil Beach, Hospedaje Mother Fanny offers beachfront accommodation with free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. One of the best stays during my time in the Galapagos. Fanny is an exceptional host and super sweet and helpful even though my Spanish was horrible. The room was large and had an A/C and I could even hang my clothes out in front of the room and because the sun shines on them most of the day they were dry in no time. The location is absolutely excellent, right on the main road of the sleepy Puerto Villamil with travel agencies (I recommend Pahoehoe) and a lavanderia and mini-market right across the street and just 3 minutes walking to the beach.
