The location is serene and stunning, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The house itself is brand new, adding to the comfort of the stay. Just across the street, there is a breathtaking view of the lagoon, which adds to the charm of the place. To top it off, the food was absolutely amazing – a true highlight of our experience. Highly recommended!

Featuring lake views, Hospedaje Vertientes del Imbabura provides accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around 29 km from Central Bank Museum. Loved our host, very sweet people and didn't mind me using Google translate to communicate better. He even took us to a few places most visitors probably don't think about. They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

I had an excellent stay at Refugio Terra Esperanza. Emerson was so helpful in answering all my questions. Excellent services. He cooked me breakfast for $3 and helped me call a taxi to Cumbre Imbabura (which I highly recommend). The place itself is rustic, but charming and cozy. It has great views of Imbabura and Cayambe, so definitely try to wake up early for that. Overall, I would highly recommend this refugio to anyone traveling here. Emerson is a great host and I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Emerson!
