I LOVED this hotel - it was so cozy and adorable! The view was incredible and the service was top notch! The food was another level and the grounds were spectacular! Loved our host, very sweet people and didn't mind me using Google translate to communicate better. He even took us to a few places most visitors probably don't think about. They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

Located 3 km from Cotacachi commercial centre, Hacienda San Isidro De Iltaqui offers free WiFi and breakfast. The accommodation is set in an organic farm in a colonial hacienda. It's difficult to pick just one thing that we liked because the Hacienda San Isidro de Iltaqui was extraordinary in so many ways! We loved the hacienda's ambiance, the farm fresh food was delicious, and the hosts offered attentive, personal, old world hospitality that will bring us back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This colourful hostel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and shared bathrooms in Esperanza town, only 100 metres from Santa Maria de la Esperanza church. Horse riding and trekking trips can be booked. I had an excellent stay at Refugio Terra Esperanza. Emerson was so helpful in answering all my questions. Excellent services. He cooked me breakfast for $3 and helped me call a taxi to Cumbre Imbabura (which I highly recommend). The place itself is rustic, but charming and cozy. It has great views of Imbabura and Cayambe, so definitely try to wake up early for that. Overall, I would highly recommend this refugio to anyone traveling here. Emerson is a great host and I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Emerson!

Set in a charming colonial-style house built 300 years ago, Hosteria Hacienda Pinsaqui features 2 restaurants, and breakfast is provided. Otavalo city centre is 5 km away. The hacienda is the perfect blend of great hospitality, history and beauty. The staff could not have been better. They were efficient and friendly. It is a very peaceful place to stay.
