Most of the budget rentals in Mompiche are constructed from bamboo but Ocean Surf is solidly constructed, so this is definitely the best choice if you are a light sleeper; you won't be kept awake by the music, dogs and cockerels! I have already made plans to return.

The food was incredible and I loved running on the beach right outside their property. One day I ended up running for two hours! The natural beauty of the area coupled with eating many different fruits and foods that I have never tried before made this an unforgettable experience.

Guests can grab a bite to eat in an outdoor dining area at the guest house. We loved the place; it is very cozy, has a great location, and is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants. The owners are very friendly—Santiago and Miriam are always willing to help and lend a hand with anything you need. It’s a pet-friendly place, which was a huge plus for us. They are very pleasant people. We hope to return to Mompiche and stay at this same hotel.
