Victor also provided me with very helpful information about Quilotoa loop. The room itself is also a nice one.

The view is obviously amazing and also the family running the hostal is lovely. The food is great and there is tea and filtered water all day. Super cosy with the fireplace in the common space and the three llamas in the garden. :) The rooms are also perfect.

If you are looking for more than a comfy bed and a hot shower, this is the place for you. Maria and her family made us feel very much at home. They even dried our shoes and cloth. Incredibly friendly family who all go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and happy. We ate delicious food, received loads of local knowledge of places to visit, and slept very well in their comfortable beds. The shower is next level.

Really nice hotel with amazing paintings! She prepared a really delicious meal for us too, surprised us with decoration for our honeymoon and turned on the whirlpool just for us. Everything was great and it's a good spot to start to the quiltao Lagune and rest when it's raining.

Great staff, kitchen, and hot showers. Probably the best hot shower and kitchen of any place I have stayed at. the stove is electric, so you don't need a match or lighter. Not normal, but I ended up getting my own cozy double for $5-$6 because I was traveling solo. Great advice for Quilotoa (which you can easily do on your own) and competitively priced tour of Cotopaxi. I actually stayed twice; before and after Quilotoa.

You can rent everything you for the hiking tours in the surroundings at the hostel. Big plus: you can see the Cotopaxi Volcano from the roof terrace and the host welcomed us with local shots.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Hostal Café Tiana offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The property features city and inner courtyard views. It’s a but old hostel but very nice one. The staff was super nice and the breakfast for the value was amazing. We did Quilotoa Loop and we met more people in this hostel for this hike.
