A fantastic space within walking distance to Stevns Cliffs. Ours hosts were very kind and friendly- they invited us for a glass of wine and a bonfire. They have great apple trees and invited us to pick apples. Very friendly and kind people.

Situated in Ærøskøbing, Andelen Guesthouse features barbecue facilities. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Adam went out of his way to accommodate me and it was a very last minute booking. I arrived with a pair of the most disgusting shoes I had ever experienced, and he found me a small place out of the way where I could clean them and let them dry. When I booked a bike rental from him, he sat down with me to figure out what I wanted to see on the bike ride and helped me work out the best path and gave me a good map to use. And because the theater under the hotel is loud and can be hear through the floor, I was given free entrance to see the movie I would have been hearing anyway. The decor was lovely and the outside spaces even better. The position near the center of town but so close to the beach and the trail that goes all around the island was perfect too. I will come back and bring a group of friends to enjoy this lovely little island! Also, a great bonus for a Danish hotel...cold fresh drinking water was readily available and free (a rarity in Denmark, often you have to pay for drinking water there). Bathrooms are shared, but were quite lovely. They were well ventilated and had lots of space, were kept clean, and were well supplied with towels, nice toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. I didn't feel like I was lacking anything. Breakfast was offsite, but Adam made arrangements with a nearby hotel that has a nice little Danish style breakfast buffet and they were able to meet my needs with my different dietary issues. They even baked me a fresh gluten free bun every morning and always offered to bake me a second one if I wanted it.

This place is just what you are looking for in a small, family-run BnB and we felt so lucky that all Esbjerg hotels were booked this weekend. Nice atmosphere, great hosts, clean, super breakfast, etc, etc. Just go ahead and book. :)

Opened in April 2013, Aroma Guesthouse is located in central Ærøskøbing on Ærø Island. This property offers free parking, a roof terrace, free WiFi, a brightly decorated room and a studio. Our host was amazing and helped us enjoy our return visit to this beautiful island during our 4 night stay. Our studio apartment was located one block from the ferry terminal and about two blocks from a larger supermarket. It is also at the foot of the historic town with so many amazing old houses and shops. We had dinner in the Aroma Cafe downstairs twice and delicious ice cream there several times. Fie, the owner, made us so comfortable and has she has such a welcoming personality. She also knew how to rent bikes and where to find the cinema. The shared bathroom was large and is shared with one other room. Having a washer and dryer was a great bonus. The kitchen was outfitted beyond compare with other properties where we have stayed.I have never seen a rolling pin in a kitchen before.

Housed in an 18th-century farmhouse in the village of Flødstrup, Staevnegaarden offers spacious apartments with free Wi-Fi and private bathroom. Flødstrup Church is just across the street. It was Danish “hygge” experience: we had a Christmas tree outside on the terrace and a Christmas wreath with candles on the table. Everything was ready for celebrating Christmas. The kitchen is convenient and spacious, equipped with necessary utensils, a coffee machine, and coffee. Two stores are just a 5-minute drive away. A great choice for staying and visiting Odense (25 minutes by car).

Set in central Jutland’s countryside, this B&B is 6 km from the town of Ansager and within 30 minutes' drive of Legoland Theme Park. The environment is excellent—very peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to Billund, making it ideal for a family trip. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and helped us a lot during our stay. The breakfast was amazing, making me look forward to waking up every morning.
