Housed in an 18th-century farmhouse in the village of Flødstrup, Staevnegaarden offers spacious apartments with free Wi-Fi and private bathroom. Flødstrup Church is just across the street. There was a lovely patio with garden furniture but because of the storm, we didn't use it. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - and more. We loved the vintage feel and the original cupboards gave a true taste of authenticity. Even though the weather was bad, we had a great girly break reading the magazines and just relaxing.

Close to the Egeskov castle which is a must see. Also close to Sandholt Slot which is not open to the public, but can be viewed from the road.

It was perfect for us. A 3 person room, not very large, but totally sufficient. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked very nice. The conservatory is a lovely under cover space to relax in the company of the lovely house cat. We had a lovely walk in the village in the evening which was very pleasant.
