Ideally located next to Tegernsee Lake in Bad Wiessee, this hotel offers free WiFi access in all rooms. It features a sauna, rooms with a balcony or terrace, and offers a buffet breakfast each... Everything was excellent! The owners are great. We had a mix up when booking (our fault), but the owners came promptly and helped us get settled. The rooms and property overall are clean, well lit, well sized, and just very nicely decorated. Breakfast was tasty! Nestled in a quiet corner by a running stream, the property is still just a couple blocks from the center.

Just 3 km from Lake Tegernsee, this family-run, Alpine-style hotel in Gmund offers free spa facilities, a traditional Bavarian restaurant with beer garden, and free WiFi. Everything. It was one big surprise. Nice and traditional hostess.

Upon arrival the owner sat down with us to ask what we wanted to experience around Tegernsee. She identified all the things she thought we might enjoy and she was spot on.

Beautiful property, location excellent - just a short walk from Rottach-Egern and hiking trails. Also easy to walk to Tegernsee - no more than 30 minutes to get to the famous Tegernseer Bräustüberl. There's a bus route as well, we got the impression it's very easy to get around. Our room was nicely furnished, very clean and cosy. Having a little balcony to sit on in the evening was a great extra. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast (continental) very tasty. We'd definitely stay again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The owners are great hosts, the rooms and shared spaces are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is superb. It's the best price/performance option I've found in Bad Wiessee and it's 5 minutes walking distance to the Tegernsee lake and boat to Tegernsee town center. ⛴️

Charming and spacious apartment with a lovely view from the big balcony. The location was great.. a short stroll to the main streets of Bad Wiessee and the lake. Peaceful too. The space was perfect for two people.. large comfy bed, lots of wardrobe space, great bathroom and simple but fine kitchen (pans, Hob, kettle, fridge). I think we loved the balcony the best. Even when it rained, as the roof extended out.
