Very friendly staff. As others have mentioned, we managed to check in after 19 o'clock. Extra bonus: mosquito net.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Spreewaldhof Romantik - Hotel Garni is located in Neu Zauche. Free Wi-Fi access is available and each room has either a balcony or a terrace. The hotel is in a quiet area on the outskirts of the Spreewald. Distances to the main tourist areas was within easy reach. One of the best experiences we've had during our last trip to Germany! We stayed for 2 nights with a family of five (2 adults + 3 kids). The location was amazing, right next to the river where we could explore the area by a canoe provided by our hosts. The room was incredible - VERY clean with top notch new amenities plus a very well equipped kitchen, it was spacious and it shows the owner thought on every detail to make sure guests will have the time of their life. The owners were amazingly polite and helpful - gave us all the needed tips and tricks to help us plan wonderful day trips to the area with the kids, they also cooked for us the most amazing breakfasts during our stay. If you are in the area - don't miss this gem! we will definitely coming back!
