Edson our driver was the best :-) always on time, waiting for us to take photos and even doing short hikes with us to make sure that we dont get lost, we can highly recommend his services if you are staying in the hotel. all staff was super nice and helpful, the hotel owner who we called before our trip as we had so many questions, ladies in the restaurant, the young man who was in charge after the owner left (sorry forgot the name!) who gave us so many excellent tips for hiking and who would always come to talk to us on the terrace to see if we had any questions. frankly, it deserves more than a 10!

Nice place with friendly staff. No air-conditioning but still cool by leaving windows open, with the downside being outside noise and a couple of streetlights lighting the room somewhat.

Excellent location, small but clean and comfortable rooms, kitchen well equipped, the beds had firm mattresses which I prefer. Great views over the ocean from the terrace. In the center of town but still peaceful at night. Jörg is very knowledgeable about the area and great to chat with. We felt very much at home.

Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. Very good value for money!

My stay at this retreat in Santo Antão was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and were incredibly friendly throughout my visit. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing local flavors and prepared with care. Nestled in the middle of the mountains, the location was breathtaking and offered the perfect setting to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this place is a must-visit!
