The view from this property was exceptional which made the trip very worth while. The garden area is beautiful. Even though zip lining is behind, it is very quiet. The area is incredibly quiet and peaceful at night. Sergio was excellent and incredibly helpful.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious - a huge plate of varied fresh fruit, a platter of toast and fresh breads, jams butter and eggs as you like them with copious refills of delicious Costa Rican coffee. All this was served on the outdoor balcony where the host is feeding fruit on a platform to the birds who flock to the site. You see more birds up close and personal the you will see in all your visits to the national parks. A true jewel of an inn.
The property is beautifully nestled along a bubbling brook, close to lake Arenal with an easy drive to Liberia airport and all the hiking and activities near LaFortuna. Trent was a great host with great recos on places to eat nearby. (Gingerbread House is a must for dinner!) . Nice pool and amazing landscaping. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. eggs, meat. etc. highly recommend!
Beautiful property in ideal jungle location. Quiet, relaxing and tranquil. Good location with many attractions within a short drive. Breakfasts were fantastic - fresh fruit, juice, eggs, pancakes and bacon, not to mention endless Costa Rican coffee. Staff were all fantastic.

Werner and Carlos were great hosts and gave us valuable info on where to go to eat and for other activities. Very pleasant and mellow experience at Casa Donna Rosa!
Carlos, & Werner are the most amenable, knowledgable sharing & caring hosts., The room, lounging area& breakfast were amazing. Quiet walkable town within easy reach of Fortuna attractions. I would spend my entire vacation here next time
Great place. We stayed in the room with a kitchen. It was very well equipped for kooking best of all places we stayed. The dining area is small but very good with little kids. Everything is well thought off and clean. Beds are great. Nice place to sit outside with a view. Great host and tasty breakfast. Pool is good for cooling off. We enjoyed our stay. The town is nice and the drive to La Fortuna is beautifull. Host was really helpfull with helping sorting out stuff to do.
Wonderful stay, very clean, tidy and lovely hosts. Most comfortable bed we have slept in! Great location. Highly recommended!
Good Breakfast was amazing and hand delivered. Like the Finn pancakes I'm used to back home none of that fluffy garbage. View was incredible Host was awesome Room was acceptably sized Clean upon entry Nice little patio to sit Relatively quiet location aside from the wind (which I was there for) Close enough to restaurants but I would suggest a car Pool area seemed nice and was sheltered from the wind Trampoline if you have kids
