What an amazing place! If you love nature and want to relax and be away from civilization this is the place for you. It is simple accommodation, but beautifully made and so serene. The garden and especially the pristine clear river right next to the property are a highlight of. There is also an amazing waterfall good for swimming 20minute walk away. Food is also good and the staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful.

Eco Hostal Kuima is located in El Zaino and features a pool with a view and mountain views. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The property was exactly as described, if not better. We got upgraded on arrival to a bigger room which was amazing. The rooms are clean and they bring you fresh towels and extra pillows if needed. The food is exceptional - I recommend the wraps! The host is exceptional- spoke English which was really helpful for us and made us feel at home. Helped us with getting to the property and with getting to our next place! Couldn’t recommend it more

Located in Guachaca, 15 minutes from Tayrona Park, Bohemia Beach offers accommodation, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a bar and a private beach area. There is free WiFi. I loved the food payment logistics. I don’t like to carry money while on vacations so I thought it was a great idea. I also loved the style and the people there. IMO the only type of hotel above 5 stars hotels is this type of hotel. Recommended for the people who enjoy the little things in life, those who find joy in the simple, those who know there are things money can’t buy.

Located in Los Naranjos, 200 metres from Los Naranjos Beach, Villa Playa Tayrona, Los Naranjos provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I loved the people that were taking care of us in the hotel. They were very kind and the food was amazing.

Boasting an open-air bath and views of sea, Casa Dos Almas is a recently renovated guest house situated in Guachaca, a few steps from Playa de Mendihuaca. Casa dos Almas is simply a magical place, a peaceful accommodation located in front of the sea on Mendihuaca beach. We stayed in a double room with a sea view located on the second floor. If we could describe our room in one word, it would be cozy. Everything was very clean, tidy, and beautiful, with a spectacular view of the sea under the shade of an almond tree. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable, and the room had a fan (air conditioning is not needed with the sea breeze). The accommodation has very comfortable and pleasant common areas. We had the option of breakfast included, but we opted for the "Napolitan eggs," which were very delicious. Thanks to Maria and Ela for everything, very friendly staff. Joseph has been one of the best hosts we have met, making our experience much more enjoyable, always attentive and kind. He instructed us very well about the place, helped us with everything we needed, and guided us on some activities like the Cacao Tour; he knows a lot about the area and told us about the culture and biodiversity. Probably many have not heard about Mendihuaca beach; it is a recent destination for tourists but offers tranquility and spectacular landscapes, located a few kilometers from Tayrona National Park and with easy access to the city of Santa Marta and nearby places of interest like the Sierra Nevada, Palomino, and other beaches. There are various activities available such as kayaking, surfing lessons, massages, among others, and transportation to other areas of the region is easy through moto-taxis. The local cuisine is not very extensive but offers more than enough delicious options, with Humbe as a recommendation, though all the restaurants we tried were delicious. We highly recommend this place for those who want to spend some time disconnecting and relaxing.

Boasting pool views, Santuario Tayrona Hostel features accommodation with patio, around 24 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. Great location at the front of Calabazo entrance to National Park (i would really recommend hiking from this entrance over Zaino. It was much more enjoyable - less people, no horses making the track muddy). The hostel is lovely, very peaceful, nice dinners.

Situated in Playa Mendiguaca, a few steps from Playa de Mendihuaca, Yaku Hostel features accommodation with a private beach area, private parking and a bar. My stay at Yaku was wonderful. The room was incredibly luxurious and the view was unbeatable. The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive. I would be lucky to stay again!
