They also organized a collectivo back to neiva for us.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The entire experience was just lovely and I'm definitely coming back if I'll visit Tatacoa again. Would definitely recommend!

Luna del Desierto was great for my short stay in Villavieja. The rooms were spacious and clean, the facilities were great, and the dog Luna was adorable. Kudos to the staff, including Andrea, for being super friendly and helpful with everything related to Tatacoa! Really made to feel at home.

Svako sopstveno kupatilo nudi tuš.... The location was excellent, right at the entrance of the Red Desert so you can get a sunrise hike in. Very basic urban camping essentially, cold water showers for the hot desert worked out fine. Food and drink were available at the restaurant, and the property provided horse riding tours and transport to the other sites too.

The place is located right in the desert. You can get stunning sunset and sunrise views by just going outside or crossing the street for a panoramic landscape view of the red desert. You'll wake up listening to birds and you can also enjoy their presence by sitting on your private chairs and table just outside your room. Birds like vultures, chachalacas, parrots, parakeets, vermillion flycatchers and caracaras among many more. They don't have an open kitchen but they offer meals and drinks until 19:00h (or 16h, I don't quite remember) at a reasonable price (from 15k to 30k). It wasn't clear weather you could drink water from the tap but we saw a family member drinking directly from their well. Anyway, we brought 8L from Villavieja. They gave us some advises and tips when we got there based on what we wanted to do. We got a ride from Villavieja on 2 motorbikes for 15k after negotiating with some locals.
