Located in Capurganá in the Choco region, Mi Cabaña El Maderal has a garden. It is situated 400 metres from Capurganá Beach and features a lift. The family that run the Cabana are the best. Very helpful and relaxed and they do washing too! They also generously let us pay via PayPal because there is no cash machine in the village and we were low on cash. ( We are stupid British tourists). They have the most adorable dog and cats! The breakfast pizza we had was the best breakfast we've had from any hostel we have stayed in this trip! I don't usually write reviews regularly but because the family went above and beyond for us. :) Thank you! Bryn and Emma x

Located on the beachfront in Bahía Solano, Refugio Mr Jerry Eco House has a terrace. The property features sea and inner courtyard views. The beach is beautiful. During the weekend, there are local people celebrating life, during the week it is rather calm with the mighty ocean at your doorstep. Amazing food (if you eat fish)! The hike to Playa de los Deseos is worth the effort, huge, empty beach about 45 minutes walking through the jungle. If the electricity works, the internet is also pretty good.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, BlueBayou.capurgana is a recently renovated guest house situated in Capurganá, 300 metres from Capurganá Beach. Super friendly family. They will help you with anything you need. The town was experiencing power outages and they even turned on the generator so that I could work remotely. So much quieter here than in the town. They have tons of cats and dogs all over the property which I loved

Facing the beachfront in Arusí, Perla del cabo features a garden. The inn provides mountain views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. We absolutely loved our stay! Celmira and her family were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and were safe when we went on excursions (nearby town with Thermal water and little bars and shops (30min walking), and a waterfall (1,5h walking). The food was incredible, we're still talking about it haha. Super chill area, not much to do but relax and enjoy the moment. Stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect length. The property is really small, we were the only guests, which was nice after a few weeks of travelling. Loved the down-to-earth vibe with bucket showers and honest conversations with the hosts.
