The staff was amazing and so kind. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was in a quiet area (yet still close to the center) so I was able to sleep well. There was a nice patio to relax and do work. I really felt at home here. It was the best place I’ve stayed during my month in Colombia.

Casona 1865 er staðsett í Ráquira, í innan við 24 km fjarlægð frá Villa de Leyva-aðaltorginu og 24 km frá Museo del Carmen. This is a beautifully neat little hotel with the best possible location in downtown of Raquira. The service, cleanliness and high standard assure a comfortable stay. We traveled with grandma who is 90 years old, and the staff was very careful to be sure she could move safely and relocated the original room to the first floor. The hotel offers some board-games that we enjoyed in a family evening below a nice kiosk they have. The breakfast includes awesome Colombian arepas, fresh fruits, orange juice, chocolate or coffee, eggs and they offer as well, wonderful herbs infusions. I will be back, but with those romantic bedrooms, the best pillows and perfect cotton bedclothes, probably next time it will be just with my partner!

Hospedaje Dulce Despertar er staðsett í Sogamoso, aðeins 26 km frá Tota-vatni og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og sólarhringsmóttöku. We were pleasantly surprised to find this charming Hospedaje run by a lovely young couple. Our room was clean and had a good size, and it was actually comfortable enough to stay longer than the two nights we spent there. The kitchen was the best we’ve seen during our two months in Colombia. We also really liked the patio with its nice shade during the day. We really recommend future guests to enjoy their delicious breakfast, and perhaps even a dinner if you’re not planning to go to the city centre. This young couple obviously enjoy cooking, and to take care of their guests. We are very grateful for the hospitality, and wish them good luck with their business.
