Nuestra habitación, a property with a terrace, is located in Barranquilla, 1.5 km from Romantic Museum of Barranquilla, 2 km from The Carnavals House, as well as 2.1 km from Amira de la Rosa Theater. I booked for one night. Gustavo and his family are truly kind, welcoming and helpful. The room is attached next to their home and the property located in a nice neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Matatagpuan sa Barranquilla at maaabot ang Romantic Museum of Barranquilla sa loob ng 12 minutong lakad, ang Casa Hostal Buenavista ay naglalaan ng hardin, mga allergy-free na kuwarto, libreng WiFi sa... This is a guesthouse that is converted into a hostel during the carnival. If you’re coming during those days, it’s located in a safe area not very far from the main road of the parade (you can take a taxi, it’s very cheap). The rooms are decent sized and it’s really nice that there is one bathroom per 3/4 people in each room. There are also lockers to leave your things. Although it was very hot outside, there is AC and a ventilator. You can come in and out whenever you want, the door is locked but there is always someone to open it, whatever the hour. The host is amazing and will try to make your stay the best possible. The breakfasts are really good and the attention given is on another level. I booked last minute and ended up paying a higher price, but it was really worth it.

La Casona 42 is situated in Barranquilla, 2.4 km from Montoya Station, 2.7 km from María Reina Metropolitan Cathedral, as well as 1.9 km from Peace Square. First of all - I will give this place a ten although it’s far away from it, but… The place is located in the sketchy neighborhood and we weren’t really feeling safe to leave the place at night. Rooms look like they are advertised and are clean. The absolute highlight of the place is the lady who owns it - she is a soul! She was very helpful, kind and gave us all the information she needed. She also made us feel like home. Since we visited city for the carnival she allowed us to store the baggage there after check out too. Overall, I wouldn’t pay the amount of money for this accommodation under any other circumstances but these including the festival and increase of prices in that area in general. Like I said - you would be feeling more than welcome and safe inside of the property, but not outside of it. Thanks again to the lovely lady, she made our stay there worth of it!
