Owner was really helpful, room was spacious for the money and location was only short distance to old town. Would definitely stay again.

Room was very large and comfortable, big plus for the bath tub in the middle, very pleasant. Staff attentive and helpful, with English spoken and good suggestions for restaurants. The place is overall beautiful and relaxing, with quiet and peaceful common areas. Washing machine available for guests.

Housed in a Tibetan-style building, Timeless Inn is located in Shangri-La Old Town. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, bicycle rentals and free usage of computers at the public areas. Rose has been a fantastic host, she can speak perfect English and she suggested how to arrange our days in Shangri-La, she helped us booking taxis, renting a scooter to explore the area, she gave us recommendations on local restaurants. Breakfast was rich and she even gave us moon cakes to try as she knew we liked them. We had our best night here during the Moon Festival with a great party with her friends where we had snacks and typical Chinese wine. We will never forget it. The room is nice and it has all the facilities. The hostel is 2 mins walking from the old town of the city and 15 mins by car from the railway station. Very convenient.

The location is excellent, situated in the tranquil section of Old Town. They offer a pick-up service at the South gate to escort you to the inn. The service is superb, featuring a friendly and helpful manager who speaks fluent English. Both high-quality coffee and tea are available. Self-service laundry facilities include a washer and dryer, with detergent provided. I would definitely stay here again.

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Dali Dare Sea View Gueshouse is a recently renovated guest house set in Dali, 13 km from Monument of Shih-tsu Taking over Yunnan. The location is at the top of the hill, take around 20 min from the Dali Train station to the hotel. Its best to take a taxi there as its on the hill and the taxi can stop right infront of the hotel. The owner is very friendly and generous. He offered dinner and breakfast is included. We had vegetarian noodle for breakfast and all the food is vegan friendly. The room was comfortable and the view was stunning, overlooking the Erhai Lake. Overall the hotel is gorgeous and the onwer is very friendly.
