Bring cash to pay if you don’t have any of the payment apps that are used all over Beijing. This is a must stay.

We were amazed by the cleanliness. The beds were large and extremely comfortable. Anyways my stay at this Cheng Yuan was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing accommodation experience nearby the Great Wall. The coffee is good by the way.

Any information we needed, or help with apps, they were always there to lend a helping hand. They even hosted us for dinner one night! The bed was super comfortable as well. There are also a number of good places to eat nearby.

This was my second time at Derunju Guesthouse. This time I cycled from Beijing via the Ansi Road, which turned out to be much easier but less scenic than the Huaichang Road. I stayed for two nights. I thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome of the proprietress and the ample and delicious food she prepared for me. I can recommend the pork roasted with chestnuts and the pancakes! The room was spacious and painstakingly clean. Fast internet is available. Great views from the terrace and a short stroll to the Water Great Wall Park entrance and downtown.

Location is perfect, very close to two subway station. Girl at the reception was super cute, very funny and helpful. The hotel has no any sign so you just follow the main image. Also it’s a pretty coffee shop rich you have to go through to reach your room.
