We had room 8 with a beautiful view and a private terrace. We spent our entire rest day here enjoying the restful atmosphere and watching the tide go in and out. We made use of the lovely common spaces in the hostel as well. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Chile, with hearty homemade seed bread, fresh fruit and yogurt, and eggs made to order. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

HOSTEL El URCO ANCUD se află în Ancud și pune la dispoziție o grădină și WiFi gratuit în întreaga proprietate. Fiecare cameră este dotată cu un balcon cu vedere la grădină. I loved my stay here. The room was huge and comfortable. Lots of covers, sheets, duvets to keep you warm. Very quiet area, perfect for a good sleep. The view from the room was super nice - looked out over the water and the cemetery. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, etc and the basic cooking supplies were very helpful (Oil, salt). There was tea and coffee available which is also a nice touch. Bathrooms were well, hot shower, clean, well stocked. I would recommend staying here. And only a ten min walk to the bus station !

The owners are really kind and great to talk with. The hostel itself is very clean, the beds are really comfortable, bathrooms are nice and the kitchen is really excellent. It has everything you need in abundance and the equipment is clean and modern. I highly recommend people stay here in Castro.
