Comprising a garden and a bar, Hostal Copart is a recently renovated accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama situated close to San Pedro Church. I am a person with disability - the property helped me immensely - gave me lower bunk bed and staff especially Mauro and Andres helped me with my bags at arrival and check out. Hostel is - Right at the center, with a fabulous tour company right opposite and money exchanges and ATM nearby, this is a great hostal. Mauro at the reception/ front desk is super helpful and efficient at helping you with any queries or issues you may have with a winning smile. Nice terrace in-house restaurant that offers great salads, pizzas and meals, making it easy to stay here without having to step out for dinner after a long tiring day.

Hostal Qachi Chentura, a property with a garden, is set in San Pedro de Atacama, 8 km from Piedra del Coyote, 27 km from Termas de Puritama, as well as 1.1 km from San Pedro Church. Wonderful quiet location about 1km from town. Clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful host who organised early breakfast for us on days we had to go earlier. Remember to ask for fan on hot days :)

Hostal Tulvak Atacama is set in San Pedro de Atacama, 29 km from Termas de Puritama, 1.1 km from San Pedro Church, and 2.8 km from Pukará de Quitor. It's the best value for the money accommodation in San Pedro. The place is very new, clean, tidy, quiet, comfortable. It's well equipped with anything that you need (shower gel, hand soap, towels, hairdryer, heater/cooler), it has a large kitchen for common use and a very beautiful terrace/lounge where to dine and to relax. It's a bright place with plenty natural light, beautifully decorated. The owners are the kindest persons which you can wish to meet, I felt them like my parents away from home. They were 100% available, willing to help with anything and always with a big, genuine smile. I couldn't ask for more during my stay.

Best hostel in Atacama! Really nice people, supportive staff, they provide you with all you need, information, dinner, tours! The best place to go if you are traveling solo and without any planning, they have tours everyday for the most touristic scenes and provide dinner every night for the most accessible price so people can hangout and make friends. It is also located near the main street (Caracoles) and has a lot of restaurants, cambio exchange and small supermarkets nearby. It was my best experience in Atacama!

Boasting inner courtyard views, Casa Ckelar Atacama provides accommodation with balcony, around 9.3 km from Piedra del Coyote. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Amazing!!! The place is so calm and quiet, if you're looking for disconnection, this is the place, zero noise, very calm. The hosts are super nice, they make you feel so good, the food is very home made, and everything is super clean and organized. The location isn't a bit far from the center - 2km (8 mins drive, 30 mins slow walking), you can rent a car or a bike, but if not, you can find local people that can do the taxi service. The tours can easily pick you up in this direction and also the airport transport (no issues). This is the place if you want to be calm and not near the city-center noise.
