Lucerne is a 30-minute drive away. kind helpfull staff, even though i asked many questions and had many concerns, the hostess Shakilla was very helpful with a smile on her face, also she has great english language, the kitchen is great (there is stove, pots, spices, coffee etc) and the greatest thing they have laundry service for 15£ for all your clothes!

Hostel Rotschuo Jugend & Familienherberge is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne just 300 metres from the next bus stop. The property has a common TV room, 2 fireplaces, table football and table tennis facilities. Awesome. Right on the lake. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. I was a bit paranoid about the shared bathroom (my hostel days are behind me) but the communal areas were very clean and there are many of them so I never had to wait for a shower/ toilet. We had a quadruple room and it came with a basin (very handy). Ten out of ten.

We loved everything about our stay and wished we had booked for longer. People were welcoming and friendly. Accommodation was amazing. There's lots to see and the church is a must!
