Our host, Carmen, so much kind, sincere, very helpful person, suggesting valuable recommendations, so nice chatting with her. In the surroundings great walks for my dog and cows with bells just nearby, truly Swiss atmosphere. Murten see with its old houses worth visiting especially by sunset, great atmosphere. Parking available, wifi super speed. Very close to Bern and Fribourg to explore. Payment possible in cash or by card.

Very clean hotel, very high level service, either in the fantastic restaurant and in the hotel. Excellent dinner and breakfast.

It is incredible value for the room that you are given - we had so much space for two people and with the kitchen we could make ourselves drinks. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the room really comfortable.

The shower gel in my room was taken away by a previous guest and the manager replenished it with two, lent me a hairdryer and provided me with extra pillows on request. If you are planning a trip to Château-d'Oex or Montreux, I highly recommend staying at this good value hostel. I will be coming back very soon!
