It is the home of several Namgis people, and it hosts many beautiful Totems and natives houses, as well as an important museum at the U'mista Cultural Centre. The Nimpkish Hotel is very close to the town centre and to the BC Ferry dock (about 1km). The staff is very friendly, and at the restaurant you can have very good and fresh fish. If the weather is nice, you can also enjoy stunning views of the bay from their patio. Breakfast is self served, but they already prepare everything for you in the kitchen, so you just have to pick up what you want :) and the view from the breakfast is again great, especially in the early morning (e.g. at Sunrise).if you can, take the opportunity also to try the Whale Watching Tour with Seasmoke Whale Watching, whose boat departs a few hundred metres from the hotel.

Great place, very cozy and comfortable. The hosts Shirley and Bob are very friendly and nice. We enjoyed the tour of flowers and vegetables garden.

We only stayed one night as we were travelling between Ucluelet and Victoria but would happily have stayed for longer. Very comfortable, had an excellent night's sleep. Everything that you could want was provided by the host.

El Tofino Paddler's Inn se encuentra en el paseo marítimo del centro de Tofino. El edificio tiene mucho carácter al tener unos 100 años de antigüedad y ser el hotel original de la ciudad. Excelente ubicación, muy agradable. Puedes tomar un rico café en la terraza del café. Es mejor opción elegir la recámara con vista al mar.
