Located in Val-David, Oberge Inn Val-David features bike and canoe rental, shared lounge, garden, and free WiFi throughout the property. The owner was super friendly and even could speak german! The breakfast was very rich with a lot of different things to chose. It is super clean and cosy!

Situated on 5 acres of pine forest on the Red River, this eco-friendly property offers a private beach. Rooms with forest views are featured. Hospitality, access to spa and sauna, snack and beverage lounge in the lobby, updated bathrooms with well thought out features. The room had ample electric outlet that were placed logically. Nice sized closet to hang outdoor gear, storage safe, mini-fridge + snacks, small desk all included and a very pleasant surprise considering the price. In addition to everything already mentioned, the included breakfast is phenomenal for the price (hot breakfast bar, fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy, cafe-style coffee, juices, pastries etc).

This Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts guest accommodation is located on the shores of Lac des Sables. Our friendly hosts Christian and his wife provided an early check-in which was awesome! They provided a detailed welcome introduction and made us feel right at home! The room was spotless, well decorated and the view of the lake was very peaceful. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast served on our patio table overlooking the lake! We plan on returning! If you go on a Sunday, make sure to reserve a table early at one of the restaurants in town. They fill up really fast.

Located in Mont-Laurier, Auberge L'Étape features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. This 3-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk. Guest rooms in the inn are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The room is spacious and I like the huge wall paper picture featuring local life. Front desk is really helpful and sympathetic when he heard we lost one of our car keys. He wrote notes to his colleagues and got back to me.

Looks like it’s fairly new or newly renovated. It’s simple yet homey. I did not expect the coffee and coffee machine, or the soap. All were a nice bonus!

Located on the shore of Lake Morency, this hotel is 15 minutes' drive from the Mont Olympia Ski Area. It features an on-site spa, canoe rentals, and rooms with therapeutic tubs. We ate at the restaurant the first night and the service was impeccable. They made an error on our bill and by the next morning in it was all corrected. The staff were very friendly.
