Set in Novo Airão in the Amazonas region, Amazônia ParkSuítes has a balcony. With river views, this accommodation offers a terrace and a swimming pool. This was a great choice. The team were really friendly and welcoming at all times, breakfast was generous and diverse in terms of items. They even prepared a little take away box for us for a day trip. The swimming pool is great and has a little Jacuzzi, which is a stunning way to end the day. Their restaurant is really good and so are the caipirinhas. Overall a great pick!

LUZ AMAZÔNIA LODGE is situated in Iranduba. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Nice spacious and comfortable lodge, deicious variety of food, very good set of activities offered. Nice scenery is just in your window. The whole team is very kind, attentive and helpful, thank you!

POUSADA BAWARY is set in São Gabriel da Cachoeira and features a garden. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Breakfast was fresh and slightly different every morning with delicious (fascinating) fruit from the garden or gathered nearby. Rooms were spacious with excellent desks and chairs and wardrobes, beds were comfortable, bathrooms and sheets spotless and a wonderful garden. Excellent wifi. Best of all - the perfect and supremely welcoming hosts.

Pousada Santos, a property with a garden, is set in Parintins, less than 1 km from Liberdade Square, a 11-minute walk from Cathedral of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, as well as 2.6 km from Convention Center... Breakfast is really good and the staff are nice and helpful, even if you don't speak Portuguese, they spent time translating over the phone

Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Cajual, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, garden and bar. What a fantastic time we had staying at the lodge. We hired a brilliant English speaking guide and a boat pilot for the week through the lodge (additional to the accommodation costs) and they organised an itinerary to tour the local area and beyond. The food was great and varied (beef/chicken/pork/fish etc), including local fish that we caught in the day. It was amazing to live in the riverside community if only for a week, and we hope to come back in the wet season when the water is higher and the landscape has changed.

Refúgio Samauma features a garden, private beach area, a restaurant and bar in Manaus. We stayed at the Refúgio for a weekend and we were the only guests on the site. Ana Ligia and her family welcomed us with open arms and did everything in their power to make us feel like home. The lodge is, as stated, quite rustic – so not for everyone. But for those who enjoy nature and being somewhere outside of the busy city life of Manaus, it's perfect. We especially loved the breakfast with açaí and lots of fresh fruit and the fish that Ana Ligia made for lunch. As a hostess, she also helped us when we missed our boat to get to the Refúgio and helped us as well on our way back. We really enjoyed our stay and, if we're in Manaus again, would definitely stay again!

A recently renovated guest house in Manaus and within 48 km of Manaus Courthouse, Ponta Poranga Jungle Lodge has a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. I absolutely loved this place. The staff was awesome especially Gabriel, Anderson and everyone else. They went the extra mile to accommodate an emergency call we had to make. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Fresh homade with a lot of love! I will be returning in the future!
