Set in Copacabana, within 400 metres of Copacabana Market and 600 metres of Nuestra Señora de Copacabana Cathedral, Hostal Las Olas offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the... Our stay at Olas well exceeded our expectations, we ended up spending a whole day in our room, rather than exploring the town. The staff were also really accomodating. Highly recommend and if you are on the backpackers budget like us then it is well worth the splurge.

We arrived at Inti Wasi after a day of travelling and Yanette introduced herself and brought us all a cup of coca tea to our room which just set the tone perfectly. The lodge was a tranquil and gorgeous place and you can really notice the care that the family put into making your time there enjoyable. The breakfast was so good before a day of hiking around the island - eggs served fresh everyday! They have a restaurant too so if you are feeling tired then you can enjoy fresh homemade pasta and pizzas there in the evening! Just an overall 10/10 stay and could definitely have stayed there longer - Isla del Sol has a piece of our hearts thanks to this amazing place and people!!

The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was made to order. I had a great view of the lake from my room, and I especially liked it that my room had donkeys next to it. If you arrive from the Sun temple, it’s not bad to get to, but of course, like all properties, coming from the Yumani port, it’s a an uphill adventure against altitude. If you want to go to Las Velas, it’s the perfect location because it is the closest accommodation. Since may be walking through the forest on your way back and need a flashlight, it’s very easy to find your way back. It’s also on the way to one of the lookout points from which it’s about 10 minutes to get there. The path to it continues past Las Velas.

Great room with beautiful view over the port and the town. Location is perfect when arriving with luggage, it is only a few steps up the hill from the port - most accommodations are a 30 minute steep uphill hike away. The downside is that the sun sets a bit earlier behind a mountain - but nothing stops you from hiking up after having dropped your luggage. Breakfast was amazing and freshly prepared. A terrace outside invites to relax in the sun. The staff was lovely and very helpful!

Featuring free WiFi, Hostal Iskanwaya offers accommodation in La Paz, 1.7 km from Cementerio Teleferico Station. The rooms are fitted with a TV with cable channels. The owner is amazing. He is full of information, speaks perfect English, helps with navigating la Paz and booking tours/flights/you name it. Great breakfast included too.

Amazing old colonial building, beautiful garden and an incredible view over Copacabana and the harbour. Log fire in the breakfast room. Room is quiet and completely dark at night. Super comfortable bed with a big thick duvet. Mario, the owner, was really kind and helpful. One of my favourite places I've stayed in 6 months travelling.

Offering 15 ecological cottages built with local materials on pre-columbian agricultural terraces, Ecolodge La Estancia offers accomodation overlooking Titicaca lake. Amazing location. Amazing people, Froylo and the chef were extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Awesome location, sunny roofed patio to hang out, good value breakfast, intensely helpful staff helped me out with tape for my parcel and cutlery when I came in with a papaya. Free welcome shot is also nice for the social vibes. Clean sheets and thick blankets.
