Boasting a private beach area and views of mountain, Чилковата Къща is a recently renovated guest house situated in Banya, 5 km from Holy Virgin Church. The setting in a quiet village near Bansko, the mineral pool which was fabulous and the owner Voika who was so kind. The room was basic and the bathroom a little tight but for the amount of time I spent there it didn’t matter too much. The pool is fed by a hot mineral spring so is always hot no matter the season. This is also a restaurant so you can eat heartily there too. Voika has no English so you’ll need to rely on Google translate to communicate.

Featuring private check-in and check-out, this property also provides guests with a barbecue.... The house was very clean and authentic. Location is excellent and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. They shared with us the history of the village and the house. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, made by the hosts with love and care. We tried several of their handmade berry’s jams and fruity refreshments along with the traditional yoghurt and cheeses. Overall, we had an amazing experience and time at Kanush Voivoda house, and Kovachevitsa!
