Located in downtown Calafate, Las Cabañitas offers rooms with free WiFi access. The property features a lovely garden with BBQ facilities. Rooms at Las Cabañitas are simply furnished and cosy. The best of our stay in Argentina. I will recommend it at 250%. Love the atmosphere of the office, it has history. The jardin have lavender and "groseilles" really well maintained. The bedroom are really clean and comfortable for 4 people or less. Only thing is the pump is noisy but we were so tired so it was ok. The kitchen is equipped and the owner left some eggs to take. The staffs are of course so friendly and they try their best to help us between Spanish and English. It make our trip so smooth when we have a great hosts and "habitacion". Well done "Las Cabañitas

Located next to El Chalten’s trekking circuits and walking distance from the main road and the city centre, Hosteria El Puma offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. I found all the staff to be very pleasant but especially the manageress. The breakfasts were healthy and quite extensive. The room had great character and was very quiet plus being in a great location - close to restaurants, cervecerias and the National Park walk entrances for Fitz Roy and Cerra Torre laguna. For suggestions re walking tracks, the staff provided wonderfully local additional knowledge. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed staying for 4 nights

Only 200 metres from the national park and the main trails of the north area of Los Glaciares National Park, Confin Patagonico offers heated rooms in El Chalten. Breakfast is included. Everything was great. Super comfortable. 2 minutes from the center, next to a good steakhouse. George and Claudia make you feel at home.

It was clean and comfortable and in a great walkable location and right on the road to the glacier. Especially liked the couple who owned it. They were so helpful and friendly and made a great homemade breakfast every morning.

Only 300 metres from El Chalten city centre, Kaulem Hotel Boutique offers 4 rooms, with exclusive views of the Fitz Roy Mount. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided, and there is a library. The breakfast was very good. Several choices and they offered to make eggs fresh if you wanted. The apple crisp was to die for!!! Very good medialuna too! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They loaned me poles twice, which were very helpful. Their restaurant suggestions were spot on as were their trail suggestions and weather outlooks. They let us store our bottle of wine in the fridge too! We enjoyed the lounge area every day, lovely. Thanks!
