The location of the hostel is a bit of out of the center but it’s easy to go around with Uber or public bus. The kitchen has few equipment to cook, which is not the best but still sufficient.

Very new and beautiful accommodation near Esquel. Our room was comfortable, private and quiet, with a good shower and comfortable bed. The owners are exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring a great stay. There is secure off street parking and a large common area for guests. The breakfast was good and guests have use of the fridge and plates, utensils, etc in the kitchen (common) area.

Located just 1.8 km from Encerrada Bay, Alem Casa de Familia provides accommodation in Ushuaia with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Danny and Patty are wonderful hosts. They were very cheerful, warm and helpful, and I felt like I had family in Ushuaia. They were very helpful in giving advice on what to do in Ushuaia, and telling me about restaurants, places to go, and how to get there. I also ordered breakfast and dinner, and both were very delicious. The room and bathroom are always very clean and comfortable. It's on a hill a little away from the main street, but you can get there in about 5-10 minutes by taxi, and it's in a great location with a panoramic view of the city. I stayed for 3 nights, but I was so impressed by the wonderful home, the family, and the beautiful city that I wanted to stay longer. It's worth more than just a stay.

Set in Ushuaia and only 4 km from Encerrada Bay, Buenavida Guesthouse offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We loved Buenavida Guesthouse! The room we had was more like a little apartment with plenty of space. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. We had a fridge in our room and Claudia stocked the room with bread, jam, cereal and milk so that you can have breakfast when you want. There is also a stove/grill in the living room area if you did want to cook. Claudia and her husband were the perfect hosts as they were really helpful, giving us lots of good recommendations for things to do and checking we had what we needed but they were not intrusive. The property is a 15 minute walk into town, however I think the price of the room reflected this, and we didn’t mind the stroll at the end of the day to stay somewhere that was peaceful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hostel "La Casita Naranja" in El Bolsón provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Super friendly staff who give good recommendations. And they have a kitten!!

Located in Villa O'Higgins in the Aysen region, Puesto Cánogas Hostal provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house offers a garden. The owner was so lovely. She gave my husband and I a warm welcome despite our late night arrival at 11pm. She even came back at 7am to prepare breakfast (original timing was 8-10am) upon knowing that we were leaving early. Breakfast was extra hearty and delicious because the owner added kindness and love to it. Totally recommend this place for anyone visiting VOH.
