49 km from Port of Bar, InTown Guesthouse Shkoder is a recently renovated property set in Shkodër and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Set in Shkodër, Enea Room in Center has a recently renovated accommodation 49 km from Port of Bar. The cleanest room I ever seen. I was wondering how shared space (kitchen and bathrooms) can stay so clean 😅 Niko was very proactive and helped me a lot with travel tips. And location is very good: close to the city centre and the bus station, but at the same time very quiet and calm.

It is difficult to describe the good vibes at this place… it feels like home or visiting family with a first class mountain view. The care and hospitality is tangible at Valter & Drita’s - John and Mary are exceptional hosts and the food produced in their mother’s kitchen is fantastic and you can taste the love. The homemade pickle salad and cheese pie were so good! All the food was outstanding - simple but really tasty. Breakfast is buffet style and caters to savoury and sweet palettes. Great coffee and Mary and John will cater to any dietary requests happily. Evening meals on the terrace with jaw dropping views were a real highlight after a day hiking in the beautiful region of Theth. The stars and moon are so close as the property is located high on a mountainside. It’s a very private sanctuary. The room was spotlessly clean, linen was lovely and the bathroom facilities were great. This place ticks all the necessary boxes re facilities but the people are what make a stay memorable. Go and visit these people - you won’t regret it. Two nights was definitely not long enough for us and we hope to return again in the future.

Facing the seafront in Shkodër, Guesthouse Zgiboza has a bar. The property features mountain and lake views. Zgiboza Guesthouse is the most amazing place in the whole Shala River, I’m talking about hospitality, food,drinks and late night talks with the owners of Zgiboza Guesthouse infront of a campfire that they make every night. The rooms were very clean and spacious and let’s not talk about the balcony view, it’s just stunning. I thank the staff of Zgiboza Guesthouse for making the stay much more comfortable and pleasant.

Very friendly stuff, offered us with coffee and rakia as we arrived. Accommodation was clean and very comfortable during night, as its house made of stone. Breakfast was traditional and abundant. We would come back anytime.

Everything in that place was fantastic. Thanks to Arstrit and his beautiful family, we enjoyed it to the fullest. We hope to come back again.

Situated in Shkodër, 3.1 km from Theth National Park, Te Sofra features accommodation with a garden and free private parking. We loved our stay here. It’s located right near the church and an easy walk to the waterfall trailhead. What we loved most was the host. When we got lost, she was quick to message back and redirect me. When we arrived, she gave us the warmest welcome. The room is rustic but immaculate with your own bathroom and hot water. In the morning, the host serves a traditional breakfast. My son has autism, and the host was so sweet and patient with him. I really appreciated all of the special attention she gave to make us feel welcomed, especially after the long winding drive. We had trouble finding the place because gps sent us in the opposite direction. Just remember when you cross the bridge into the village to take a right towards the church.
