Such a dream guesthouse, one of the standouts of hiking the Peaks of the Balkans trail. Firstly, the hostess is incredible: a force of nature, truly caring and always ready with her local amazing fermented milk drink or a kindly gesture. She got up at five am to make us breakfast which was amazing. We also loved the new cabins on site; unexpectedly chic and romantic for the rural location. We got upgraded but we arrived first that day so that’s probably not something to count on. The food was also excellent and there was good camaraderie as it’s clearly popular amongst hikers.

The guest House is really close to the end / start of the Theth / Valbona trekking which makes it perfect to use it as base for that. Moreover, the owners are extremely nice and helpful. Dinner was really good too.

We had a great stay at this guesthouse. We picked it because it looked to be a bit off the beaten path and quieter, and it certainly delivered on that. The location was stunning and absolutely perfect for hiking - it sits right next to a smaller trail up one of the mountains, and a short (10mins) walk to the Valbona - Theth trailhead. The rooms were very well fitted, clean and comfortable. The host was extremely attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of during the stay and in helping me retrieve a lost item after. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast was a highlight—everything was traditional, organic, and absolutely delicious, offering a true taste of the local culture. The setting was peaceful, with beautiful mountain views and cozy accommodations that made the experience unforgettable.

Objekat Guesthouse Mehmeti, koji se nalazi u gradu Valbona, nudi vrt, terasu, bar i besplatan WiFi u celom objektu. The Mehmeti family felt like a home away from home. They really made us feel at home and cooked lunch and diner for us during our stay. The garden is beautiful and we really enjoyed relaxing in the garden with a beer and wine. I would say don’t look further and this is the only place you need to be during your stay in Valbone

This guesthouse is super nice as the hosts are super friendly and the food is super delicious. They have a lovely garden with seating outside and very clean and spacious rooms.

The accommodations, staff, food and the view (the VIEW!) were all excellent. We would highly recommend to others traveling to the area and/or others hiking Peaks of the Balkans who are looking for an elevated lodging experience.
