This was our first stay before our hiking trip through Albanian. The location is a perfect start for a hike to Theth. They make almost all of the food themselves, and it was really delicious. Thanks for having us!

All our questions were answered and lots of helpful info about the area and walk etc. We stayed before the walk to Theth and the boys helped us with a 5:30am taxi, packed breakfast and lunch!! 10/10 stay

We had a great stay at this guesthouse. We picked it because it looked to be a bit off the beaten path and quieter, and it certainly delivered on that. The location was stunning and absolutely perfect for hiking - it sits right next to a smaller trail up one of the mountains, and a short (10mins) walk to the Valbona - Theth trailhead. The rooms were very well fitted, clean and comfortable. The host was extremely attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of during the stay and in helping me retrieve a lost item after. Would highly recommend.

Guesthouse Skender Selimaj mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di Valbonë. Tetamu boleh menikmati minuman di bar snek. Skender Selimaj is a family run guest house. The food came their property and was traditional and excellent. We spent two nights there hiking nearby trails and to Theth. We have such fond memories of this place and family.

The accommodations, staff, food and the view (the VIEW!) were all excellent. We would highly recommend to others traveling to the area and/or others hiking Peaks of the Balkans who are looking for an elevated lodging experience.
