Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Location, facilities, ambiance and serenity. Our host Chante with generous Karoo hospitality provided an excellent braai package. The breakfast was excellent. This is definitely worth a longer stay. The cottage contained all amenities for a comfortable stay, even a dover stove for winter nights. The gravel road to the property is in good condition and easy to navigate. If you’re in need of balm for your soul and want to revive your senses this is the perfect spot! We will certainly be back!
The breakfast and dinner was excellent, the farm is in such a lovely area of the country. The hosts so friendly and entertainment area is so well decorated and has everthing to make you feel at home.
Evening meal and breakfast. Both very enjoyable and well presented. The lounge / dining room where we ate was impressive, as was the ambience created by our hostess ... soft light, romantic music. Nice touch.
