The Shack Cabin was Beautiful and we had everything we needed, it was very quiet, perfect for our Anniversary get away, the staff was super helpful and friendly and very accomodating, they went the extra mile every time, thank you to the hosts. We loved the mountain getaway experience this is a must if you visit this magical place.
Monika and Dave are lovely and attentive hosts, we really enjoyed our stay. The dogs were cute.

Fantastic hosts Monika and Dave along with their many rescue dogs (we had a soft spot for Maggie the black lab!). Great location, brilliant views, tasty dinners and breakfasts. Very close to Marakele National Park which is definitely worth a visit.
The location of the lodge is in a great area, very quiet and tranquil you right in the bush if you are looking for a bush holiday I would recommend look for lodges around this one. The road is uphill and has a bit of stones but manageable with a high suspension vehicle. The 1 and only staff at the lodge Alison/Alston is very helpful and tries his best to assist were possible but clearly the management is not supportive.
