Bit dated but friendly and helpful staff, and lovely gardens. Internet and TV service very patchy. The Gardner washed our car twice which was a lovely touch.

A beautiful property, lovingly presented..the guest house was a very classy place to stay. The attention to detail was appreciated and made our stay a unique experience. The pool area made for a delightfully relaxing evening and the front terrace was a superb location for breakfast. Little touches like flowers to adorn the breakfast table and insect repellent in the rooms were thoughtful. We enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful stay and felt pampered. The gardens were sublime.

My friends and I stayed in the farm house over news years 2025.
I must say, we were all blown away with how amazing the location and the service was.
The views are spectacular and the farm dogs are such pleasant, well behaved and loving visitors!
We specifically enjoyed the easy access pool in the back yard which we swam in way too many times to count.
We also went out to the river and kayaked as well, Sonja was extremely helpful with directing us and making sure we get there safely.
We loved our stay so much we had to book another night and thankfully Sonja was more than happy to have us for one more day on such short notice!
We will definitely be back.
New favourite holiday spot for sure.

We had a great stay! Host is very communicative and friendly. The apartment is beautifully decorated and spacious. The patio has an incredible view. Was so great to use the braai! Lots of thoughtful touches. Would definitely stay again.

It is a rustic style with clean and modern facilities, tastefully furnished, and in a quiet location with fabulous outlook from.the main room over the hills and valleys. Especially colourful in Autumn, too, with plenty of birdlife and pretty gardens.
Lovely place to stay in a great location and the host was extremely welcoming and charming. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Swellendam.
Great location, just off the N2 in a quiet residential street but within walking distance to several restaurants. Comfortable room, great bed & shower. Patrick & Gray were perfect hosts, Patrick was a mine of information both locally for a great hike and future holiday options. Lovely breakfast on the patio looking out on the mountains. Perfect!

Private house with an extra room and small private kitchen to rent out. Separate entrance so you’re completely independent. Beautiful view of the hills during breakfast.
We also used it as a base to visit De Hoop which is quite a ride but worth visiting and still having the luxury of good restaurants and coffee bars in town.
