Very clean. Very big. Superb Mini Bar and free sherry. It had a coffee station, kettle, microwave and bathroom amenities. We loved the private courtyard of room 6 for our two Rottweilers, so they did not interact with other dogs.
Set in Richmond, a few steps from Richmond Horse Museum, The Richmond Café and Rooms features a garden and views of the inner courtyard. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking.

I stayed overnight on my way from Cape Town to Joburg. This is easily the most memorable stop-over spot I've visited. The property itself is a beautifully assembled oasis, perfect for winding down after a long day's driving, and resting ahead of another one. Don't miss dinner or breakfast. The meals alone make the stay worth it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Berna was fantastic.
Highly recommended!

The town was a pleasant surprise. Easy access from N1. The room was fine and the air conditioning was a blessing. I did not go to the restaurant as it closes early and I was travelling alone. Overall a good experience.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very neat and clean. Beautifull decor. Nice and quiet. Host was friendly and accomodating. Great stayover on our way from Cape Town to JHB. Rooms were spacious with all the neccassary luxuries.
It's a guesthouse so bring your own food because there's no decent restaurant around the area. There was complimentary water, tea/coffee and wine/alcohol bev that you can buy.The host was very welcoming. The pool was clean and the kids loved it. Beautiful, nicely maintained rooms, bathrooms are nice and big. I rate them 10/10 for cleanliness. We'll definitely stay here if we ever drive to Cape town.
Great host, the place was perfectly situated for an overnight halfway stop from Cape Town to JhB. It was clean, safe, quaint and we'll appointed. They will cater dinner or breakfast including halaal. I will stay here again
Rooms very comfortable. Fantastic Decor. Superb food. Advance notification of loadshedding. Rika and her staff are interactive and great hosts! highly recommend ✌🏽
