Wonderful property that has so much history. Gardens are beautiful and there is so much attention to detail. Enjoyed the food and would recommend Roche house to anyone.

Wanted to rest as I was coming from Joburg going to a funeral in EC. Was very worried as I didn't know the town. I booked and when I got to the venue, I was welcomed with a smile and assisted professionally by their host. Was walked to my room and shown how everything works. The room was very spacious, clean and beautiful. I loved how big it was and enjoyed the warm shower. Perfectly placed from the city, not too far and quiet. Navigation to get there: was very easy. Very kind host, beautiful guest house in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very comfortable and clean. Nice restaurants and facilities available within 5 minutes driving distance.
Spectacular breakfast. Yoghurt, fruit and nut dessert cups were out of this world. Charming hosts. Beautiful artwork in the entrance. Superb rooms. Heated beds. Great location. 95% powered by green energy - solar panels and gas geysers - which offer instant hot water. In an area plagued by power cuts, this guest house has made an impressive investment in solar power. As it is virtually off the grid, it is unaffected by national loadshedding or municipal all-fall-downs. Fabulous for visitors. Thank you.
