The place was nice and quiet and the host was very kind and helpful when she gave me a small tour of the guesthouse. It was also really convenient to have a good microwave, an oven with a stove, and a very cold refrigerator to help keep cool in this summer heat.
The bed was super comfortable and I found myself sleeping on it after 5 minutes of laying on it.
This historical house is charming and well maintained, and our hosts were beyond wonderful. My mom had a bad fall (at another venue!), and they made her as comfortable as possible and checked in on her regularly when I was not around. Great location if you need to be near the university, and the suburb is beautiful and quiet. Breakfasts are yum! We were made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed our stay and interactions with our hosts. Will definitely be back!
