Stayed only one night, wish we could have stayed longer. Easy communication with the affable host, check in/check out smooth, WiFi worked well, shower had hot water, bed was comfortable, location was secure and relatively convenient with off-street parking.

The property was fantastic. A stately villa with outlying buildings overlooking a private pool and lush, beautiful gardens. Tanya and the staff catered to every need, and the whole experience was fantastic. Perfect location in Constantia was close to wineries and great restaurants.

A quiet, clean, luxury gem in Constantia. This small boutique retreat is very well appointed and private. The staff are attentive, welcoming and very caring to every detail. The breakfast is a wonderful start to the day served in a idilic lush garden or on the veranda. We have been blessed to stay there before. Villa Coloniale does not disappoint. A true home from home for a quiet, private, personal boutique experience. Access is safe and secure with ample parking on site. Highly recommended.

It was a fabulous place with incredible staff, spacious rooms, dining area, bar, private outdoor spaces, pool and tennis court. We also felt safe and secure with the gate and perimeter fence. The Constantia area and neighborhood were beautiful and seemed safe as well.

So many little extras. The view was fantastic, small fridge in the room with lounge facilities with dishware and cutlery. Very easy to bring one's own food into the guesthouse. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed to find a medical clinic and pharmacy.

Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The apartment is in a wonderful location. Right on the beach front and by cafes etc, yet quiet because it is courtyard facing. Guy and his wife were exceptionally helpful and accommodating hosts.

Muizenberg is really very close with clean beaches and cool restaurants a ten minute walk from the guesthouse.
This guesthouse is situated in a secure and beautiful area, with a picturesque view of the mountain - exactly as advertised. The sheets, towels and everything else was clean and neat. We had a wonderful night's rest - the bed is top notch quality! Air-conditioning, coffee, tea and all the additional perks were appreciated. The area is quiet and calm. Trevor, our host, was extremely welcoming and the communication was efficient. Will most definitely stay here again when visiting the area!
