Very friendly staff, welcoming and very helpful. Was excellent to have a driver associated with the manor to take and fetch us as we didn't have a car. We have rarely been welcomed as warmly as we were at this apartment. The owners personally picked us up as our flight arrived late. We stayed in the deluxe room, which is incredibly spacious and offers a stunning view of the ocean. We highly recommend booking this place to everyone, and we truly regretted not staying longer!

Would 100% recommend!! We really enjoyed our stay. The views of the ocean were stunning, and the location was perfect - within close proximity to several restaurants, a pub, and the main beach and tidal pool. It’s also just a short drive to Umhlanga.

The location is amazing-quiet, safe and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Hazel was a wonderful and very accommodating host, took the time to explain what was available in the area and recommend places of interest. The staff was also very friendly. Would have loved some sea view and a slightly more sweet breakfast options, but overall everything was wonderful. I absolutely recommend the place.

Dorothy was such a great host..she really went out of her way to make me and my daughter comfortable during the weekend. We did not have to lock our room whenever we left the house! It really felt like Lapeng - A home away from home. The home is beautiful and serene. A perfect space for a weekend meant for recharging and recuperating.

It was a clean, quiet place and the facilities were excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, even with things, that they were not responsible for (I had no car with me, so I actually did not have a chance to get supper or breakfast - but Grace's husband drove me to a hotel a few kilometres away, where I could eat and the service and quality of the meals was very good). So the whole stay exceeded all my best expectations.

The guest house and hosts where lovely ... the little resident dogs where a bonus and happy to be friends ... the room was basic and clean and perfect for the 1 night stay before I headed off .. they arranged a taxi for me from the airport on booking ... the breakfast was great and the veiw of the sea was the perfect vista for morning coffee ... very friendly and quiet and being so close to the airport after a long fight from the UK was great too
I had such a wonderful time at La Peng Guest House. The Breakfast were wonderful the best ever I had on any of my vacations. Dorothy and Alex are such wonderful kind and caring people, and the kitty is just so adorable (KIA). THE SERVICE WERE EXCELLENT, Breakfast was a feast so much food, the best Breakfast. Dorothy and Alex are the best Hosts very kind, friendly and helpful. The home away from home, beautiful room with sea view, the kindest of people. Highly recommend this Guest House. The lovely chats with Dorothy at Breakfast, and Alex carrying my heavy Suitcase. The view was stunning. Dorothy was so welcoming and Alex made a delicious breakfast. Highly reccomend making a trip to Lapeng if you love a seaview, sunsets and relaxing stay.
