Beautiful location. Our room was lovers nest, so close to the water, it was like being in a boat! We went out in kayaks which was great. So fun to see the tide come in and out. Beautiful gardens.

Absolutely gorgeous location and views, set on a stunning, safe and private island with a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. The room itself was also stunning - relaxing beach vibe and very stylish at the same time. Using the on-site bicycles and travelling around the island was also a big highlight of our trip as there is a lot to see and do on the island, as well as using the on-site kayaks to paddle around the lagoon. It's also very close to some of the amazing restaurants at the lagoon mouth (Pizza E Vino was brilliant).

The breakfast was top notch with fresh ingredients. I highly enjoyed the freshly baked croissants. I loved the service the most. 5 star experience and service. All staff were very helpful. Every morning our car was wiped down. The hostess personally said goodbye to us. I highly recommend this place to stay at in Knysna.

Hosts Colleen & Cecil are most welcoming and informative, and will make you a nice breakfast. Very clean property throughout, not too far from the Knysna waterfront and Thesen Island. I would definitely stay again upon visiting Knysna 🫶

We stayed over for the Knysna half marathon and we were so pleased with everything at Pearl View Guest House.
Marycke and Conni are great hosts and the chef prepares delicious breakfasts and dinners - we didn't even leave the guesthouse to go and eat in town.
Sundowners on the stoep with the sun setting over the lagoon is a must.
We will definitely visit again.
Apartment was beautiful and well equipped. Details of loadshedding made very clear. Faith was a great host and met us on arrival at the entrance to the quays. Secure parking underneath with direct access to the flat via stairs. Easy walk to the restaurants and shops, short drive to some lovely beaches. Bedroom faced away from the quays so was quiet
Lauren was great host, always on top of her communication and enjoyed her recommendations about area. I loved the place. It was quiet, great for resting and a short distance to town and harbor.
The bonus has to be the inverter... Loadshedding was never a problem.
