Chris is an excellent host - ever helpful and cheerful. He clearly loves what he does. The house and garden are beautiful, we had a good breakfast (including looking after gluten free needs). It is an easy (safe) walk to a large variety of restaurants.

Hidden Gem! The property was located in a quiet and secure neighborhood . The guest house is ideally located and close to restaurants, malls and all major roads which makes travelling a breeze. Peter , the owner was an exceptional host . He made sure that his guests are comfortable and taken care of the entire stay. There was water and fresh fruit in the room everyday. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated and the gardens well kept. I would highly definitely recommend this guest house and definitely will be back!

The great price for what you get. Well-equipped cottage with everything you need. Smart tv with YouTube. Really comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful hosts. Great location. Quiet suburb. Central to town and walking distance from supermarket. Lots of parking. Private entrance. 24-hour access by using own remote. Friendly dogs (although behind a gate). Was great to have the TV on when there was loadshedding. Wi-fi was reliable.

The room was sufficent but not very big, especially not if you bring a few big suitcases, we had to place them on the bed to open them.

Very safe location near street with lots of cafes and boutiques. Bed is very comfortable. Quiet hostel, not a party place. Helpful and friendly staff. There's a nearby park as well.
We had the best time in Agterplaas guesthouse. The host did everything to make feel at home : they even upgraded our room for free once we arrived.
Besides, they made sure we got everything we needed for our 10 months old baby.
The room are very spacious and comfortable, located in a very safe aera in Johannesburg (we could easily go out, have drinks and lunch by foot).
And the breakfast, which is included, is excellent. Fresh baked bread, fresh fruits, very good muffins…

The flat was furnished beautifully and Natasha was a great hostess. It was quiet and very peaceful with a bed some comfortable I didn't want to get up.
