The host in this bed and breakfast was very attentive and super helpful with site seeing suggestions, maps, etc. The location with animals roaming freely in the neighborhood added to the charm. Very secure and comfortable.

The property stylistically is a modern 5 diamond estate with every convenience you could ask for. It is situated in the middle of what you could mistake for the Grand Canyon if it was green. It is heaven on earth. The owners and the staff are wonderful and will make your stay unforgettable.

What a find! This beautiful guest house is in a fabulous, leafy, residential neighbourhood of Hoedspruit. Very peaceful and quiet. Many eateries, cafes and a Spar are within easy walking distance.
While the accommodation is quite basic, it is more than adequate for a couple of days in town.
The real added value comes from the caring owner who gave us a warm welcome and helped us without hesitation when our plans changed. Alfred could not have been more accommodating. We are grateful to have found Maruleng.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
A large house, plenty of room. Lovely gardens and pool with a mountain View. Great beds. The kitchen was really well equipped and functional. Quirky decorations made the house a bit interesting and fun. Really great hosts - helpful and there if you needed them but not intrusive. Seeing the zebras and the wilderbeast was also an added bonus.
The cottage is in a Estate. Safe and organised. It is surrounded by nature, animals pass by. I enjoyed the quietness, the stars on the sky. The cottage inside is spacious and warm. It has all the comfort, the kitchen well-equipped. Above all the best of Bee-Eater are the hosts: Riette and Chris. They were so welcoming and supportive of my first ever trip to the continent and to South-Africa. They truly made my stay relaxed and enjoyable.
Kim & Dev are exceptional hosts. Throughout our stay, they were available to cater to all our needs. We ran into a bit of an issue, and they were more than willing to assist us by making arrangements on our behalf.
The property is gorgeous, clean and just like the pictures. It is located close to the city centre, which is convenient too. It’s perfect for a quiet getaway!
