We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Excellent layout: roomy with 2 couches & 2 chairs, plenty of kitchen & fridge space, nice finishes & decor. We had our own private garage with remote. Owners were friendly and helpful & the place was spotless.
As we were street side, we had a partial view of the ocean, but it was a quick drive down Main Street (3-5 minutes?) Gonubie Beach is beautiful and opens to an inner beach along the river where one can swim/ float in warmer water.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
We were in the self-catering unit and it was clean and lovely. Beulah is a wonderful host. We had a view from the verandah.
We loved the quiet and tranquil atmosphere although we only slept there because we were preparing for my daughter's wedding at Stonehaven. We had a wonderful time.
Beautiful accommodation with a great location and sea view. We particularly liked the warmth of our hostess, who really gave us lots of recommendations. I also forgot something in the accommodation after our stay and she immediately made sure that we got our things back. Really anything but a given and therefore an absolute recommendation from me
I loved that it was five minutes walk away from the beach, the peace and serenity of the location and guest house was just what we needed for a holiday break. The hosts are the friendliest and most accommodating cute couple. Not a place to miss!
Amazing, palatial accommodation! It really feels like staying in a palace, with beautiful furniture and decor, and sweeping views over the ocean and South Africa's Wild Coast below. The hostess was lovely, very welcoming and accommodating, and I was very pleased with my room. It was blissfully quiet, and I slept so well there. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
It is a quiet, serene location. Very neat and clean. The view is stunning. Lauf, our host, was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The dog is beautiful and also very welcoming. This place in Chintsa is a little gem along the East Coast resorts. Highly recommended.
The quietness, warmth of the hosts and reasonable pricing. The hosts were very welcoming. It's an eco lodge but practically has all you need. The views are beautiful. I could get my washing done.
