The Sir David is in a lovely location very close to the beach in Bloubergstrand. My sea facing room had a lovely balcony with chairs to sit on which was very pleasant in the evening and early morning.
My room was very clean and well appointed as was the whole guesthouse.
Breakfast was plentiful but the bread rolls on my first morning were old and doughy and the croissant on the second morning presented in a cellophane packet was cold and inedible it really should have been warmed up and crisped in the oven. I did not have the cooked breakfast option so cannot comment.
All in all my two nights at the Sir David were pleasant.

Big, beautiful room with a nice view from the balcony. Loved the bath and shower. Decent sized fridge. Heidi and Peter make you feel like you're at home and are wonderful hosts.

The girls looked after us every morning with fresh breakfasts and there was always daily varieties. Our party of 15 all more than happy with the quality of food and we were well looked after every morning. Special shout out to the bar staff who were absolutely superb.

The place is amazing I love it the host was a very welcoming person.The pool was amazing, place was clean and there’s even a cleaner that cleans when you out, with your consent of cause.
