Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Yennie was a great host and was willing to go the extra mile for us. She had us picked up by her driver within minutes when we got stuck in a huge rain storm. The homestay is comfortable and feels like home. Definitely would recommend the pottery homestay. Yennie was the person that made our stay exceed our expectations.
Great location on ab binh island. I came here because of the reviews but not sure how they got a score of nine and above I have stayed in way better homestays cheaper and more comfortable too
Quiet. Peaceful. Clean. A home away from home but in foreign lands. You can tell that the whole family puts their whole heart into what they do here.
Yennie my host went above and beyond to make my stay unforgetable. She even helped me plan some of my itinerary after I had left.
The food was as good as you will find in any fine dining restaurant.
Beautiful pottery decorates the property.
And the tours they plan are excellent.
The bus from Ho Chi Minh takes you right in front of the guesthouse, it takes around 4h.
The guesthouse is clean, well equipped and on a beautiful location, right on the river. They cook for you anytime you ask, offer large menu from which are two pages vegetarian. The food is homemade and absolutly delicious. The hostest is super extra nice, helped us book the bus there and back, offered a boat trip which I definitely recommend to take and when I said I am sick, she made me special soup and tea which actualy realy helped.
It is a lovely homestay a little away from the city center with a most friendly host family who make you feel very welcome and home.
The bathroom in the garden is quite something extraordinary.
Having dinner in the garden is lovely.
Yennie is such a wonderful host and a very lovely and helpful person who really makes the stay unforgettable.
Hong is a wonderfull host who's trying to make you feel at home. She arranges motorbike rentals, tours and booking a bus for your next trip without any commission. She speaks German and English. The homestay is fairly new and superclean. The beds are really good en the airco is noiseless. The food is delicious and freshley made and really cheap. I would come back any time. We spend 4 days, rented a scooter, did the small boat tour with her brother etc. . It was lovely.
I loved this place! The host and her family are charming , very helpful and friendly.
The location is great on an island with lots of nice paths to explore.
The food is delicious.
Yennie and her parents have been great hosts, the best we could have found. The house is spectacular and they care about every detail of your vacation. There are some bicycles free to use in surroundings and Yennie gives great advice about cycling tours and nearby restaurants on her website. Don’t Forget to try her mum’s dishes for lunch or dinner, simply delicious
