Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
I booked a room here and was quite impressed. The price is cheaper but the quality is really good. Enthusiastic and attentive staff. Speaks in English very well. Delicious and quality breakfast
The host was great, very friendly, very fluent with english her whole family lives nearby and she is a great cook and you can use the swimming pool which is about 5 meters away.
Gam is such a good host. She tells you her stories of the land, the culture, the history, the nature, etc. She has a lot to tell and makes tours exactly how you want it. She speaks English very well and does everything to make you feel comfortable without being pushy. If you want to have a real good experience and see and feel authentic Vietnam, you should definitely visit this Homestay with it’s new clean rooms with astonishing views.
The host is incredibly kind, provided us with many tips for the area, organized scooters, and served us amazing home made food. She was very flexible with breakfast and check-in/check-out hours, and made us feel very welcome. The Homestay itself is also super nice, located in a great area with lots of nature to visit around and easily accessible from Hanoi by self-organised bus transfer.
A place for you to relax and experience. The host was friendly and helped me with everything for the tour, meals, and bus transportation. Everything is perfect
Great scenery. Super location to be, but hard to reach for our drivers (involves uphill driving). Nice to walk around and down to explore the village. Very lovely host family and great grandpa who was always active: taking care of granddaughter, weaving a rug, sweeping the floor or doing something else.
The valley is absolutelly beautiful, you can take a really nice walk just further up from the homestay. The bungalow is lovely, nighttime was quiet. There is no AC, but considering April temperatures this wasn't an issue. The staff is very kind, but expect a language barrier and use Google translate. It's definitely worth stopping by, in the low season you roam around the rice fields alone.
This was my favorite homestay experience in Vietnam because it gave me everything I was looking for. It's in a really beautiful, quiet area with a charming village close by and easy to explore. The homestay has a beautiful design and is stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The owner and staff were very helpful and lovely, and the food is extremely high quality, healthy and delicious. I felt rejuvenated after my stay and will definitely come back.
